Batch Processing

MerchantPay’s batch credit card processing capabilities allow you to process multiple transactions at one time, permitting you to choose when to process transactions on the MerchantPay Gateway.

Merchants with many credit card transactions can save time by utilizing the Batch Upload feature on the MerchantPay Gateway. When using this feature, merchants upload a file directly into the payment gateway, eliminating the repetitive and time-consuming process of sending each transaction individually. When MerchantPay receives the batch file, we make a single call to the network to get approvals on all the transactions at once. Authorization is easy, as two files are returned to the merchant: one with all the approvals, and one with any declined transactions.

Instead of paying a fee every time you process an individual transaction, you pay a single network connection fee for batch processing, saving you money on a large volume of transactions. Batch processing is instantly streamlined in your MerchantPay Gateway, so all transactions are located in the same easy-to-use platform, which easily allows merchants to pull robust reports.

When you use the Batch Upload feature within the MerchantPay Gateway, you can expect the highest level of security. With our batch payment processing, you don’t need to manually transmit and store volumes of credit card information. The MerchantPay Gateway encrypts and tokenizes sensitive payment data and stores it in our secure server, allowing you to store a token instead.
